We do not rush through grooms; our aim is to always have a content, relaxed dog. If going to the groomers has historically been a nightmare for you and your dog, or your dog 'will not let you groom them' we are here to change things. It takes time to improve behaviours, so it is important for pet carers to work with us for long term improvements. Gaining trust can take time, but the benefits are immense.
No cages, just freedom to move and wander or stretch out on the sofa. Non slip rugs for pensioners, toys for the puppies and a comfy couch for divas. Plus lots of quality treats. Calming aromatic flower waters and gorgeous grooming products with natural ingredients such as jojoba oil, aloe vera, coconut, chamomile and lavender.
Meet and treat appointments for a first visit, to offer reassurance for you and your dog/puppy and promote an enjoyable experience to alleviate stress factors. A grooming plan, tailored specifically to dog and owner needs and to help improve any temperament or anxiety issues. Also great for new puppies to get them off to the right start.
For extra luxury, our spa treatments include mud packs, nose and paw rejuvination. Treat them to a spa day. Their skin deserves the best too.
Our story
Bellamy's Pad is dedicated to my beautiful dogs, Bellamy, Beaumont and Cassi, sadly no longer with me in body, but always with me in spirit and forever in my heart. Also dedicated to all the dogs in my early life and the wonderful ones sharing my current adventures.

Services
Meet and treat
A meet and treat appointment is required for each new client. This is important to help new visitors (dogs and pet parents) feel very comfortable and at ease with our salon. It helps alleviate stress, encourages dogs to have an enjoyable experience and helps us devise a tailored grooming plan.
Luxury bath and blow dry
Enjoy a soothing bath with beautiful gentle, natural shampoos such as jojoba oil, chamomile, aloe vera, coconut and papaya; followed by a blow or towel dry (anxious dogs) comb and brush out and nail clip.
Full groom
A professional bath using natural shampoos and conditioners suited to skin and coat type, followed by gentle blow or towel dry, comb and brush finish. Coat clip or trim depending on requirements and coat condition. Nail clip, ear clean and teeth check all included in a full groom.
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning
Teeth cleaning with the ultrasonic toothbrush is soft and gentle, with no vibration and is silent, so non-invasive and kind for dogs. Gently removes tartar with no need for general anaesthetic and costly visits to the vet.
Spa days
A real pamper session. Luxury mud pack or soothing bath using natural shampoos & conditioners suited to skin & coat type, plus nose and paw balm treatment followed by gentle blow dry, clip and trim. Finish with a comb and brush finish. Finally, a snooze on the relaxation couch.
Nail clipping
Standard nail clipping from £12.00, but is included with a full groom. We cater to your needs, so if your dog dislikes his nails or feet being touched, please book the extended nail clipping appointment which allocates more time for the extra special attention
Puppy & New Dog Socials Package
The first few months of a dog's life are crucial for the development of a relaxed, well trained dog. For this reason, we offer puppy and new dog socials to get your dog used to visiting our salon in the best possible way.
