Tackle Those Knots
Do you struggle to keep your dog's coat knot free? Do you feel that your dog does not let you groom them ? We can help.
We often hear owners say that they are sorry their dog has knots in certain places, they just won't let them brush them, or touch specific areas.
Firstly, having a brush only will not keep a coat tangle free. A brush simply glides over the top coat (or guard hairs) and perhaps picks up some fluff (shedded coat). Always have a grooming kit which consists of combs and brushes. We can advise you on the tools and have grooming items available in the shop to purchase.
When combing your dog, always have one hand placed on the hair roots (close to the skin) and use the other hand to combe through the coat towards you. This stops pulling of the skin and any discomfort, so your dog should not object to this.
